New 2009 version Redstuff is without doubt the best selling EBC Brake pad compound as it simply ticks so many boxes. Not only is this pad a lower dust than most, it beds in quickly (early Redstuff took 1000 miles, new Red takes 200-300 miles only) grips like a boa constrictor and minimises rotor wear.

As a firm favourite of the Premium import car driver this material sells very well to Euro import drivers for the dust aspect and the fact that it has a TYPE APPROVED high friction rated compound that few aftermarket pads have. Most standard aftermarket pads will actually de grade your brake as they do not have the high friction rating that Redstuff has and Euros were built with. Muscle Car drivers also appreciate Redstuff for fast street use due to its high brake torque generation but if you are going to the track for any sort of driving EBC strongly recommends its Yellowstuff grade for cars up to 2000 lbs and 200 BHP and its new Bluestuff Full race pads for heavier cars and longer races.
